Parents - Nutrition

The Nutrition Department would like to remind parents that delinquent student meal accounts will be sent to a third party collection agency. A delinquent account is any individual student account that is over $5 negative as of the 1 each month, beginning November 3rd Students in grades K-7 will continue to be provided with one lunch meal per day if they do not bring an alternate lunch from home, but the account will continue to accumulate meal charges even after the account has been submitted to collections. Students in grades 8-12 are only permitted to charge up to $-5.00 before they will be required to either have cash for their meal purchase or bring an alternative meal from home. Parents should enroll in the District’s online student meal account program at to monitor account balances and register for low balance email alerts. (Parents with students in grades 6-12 need to select Norwalk High School when enrolling in the program.) If you do not have Internet access, the Nutrition Department is happy to provide you with a balance via telephone. Please phone 981-9876 if you have questions. The District may assess a $25 administrative fee on any delinquent account.

The folder in the link below will be updated throughout the year.  The goal is to provide all students opportunities to apply for various scholarships and contests.  While the majority of the scholarships and contests are for seniors all grade levels should check for opportunities.  Please note the Dean's Office attempts to have all information correct but realize dates, amounts, qualifications, and other information might have changed or be incorrect.

Flu Shot/Mist Clinic For Students and Families PDF  | Print |
Parents - Resources

Warren County Health Services and the Norwalk School Nurses will host a flu shot/mist clinic for students and families on Thursday, October 30 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the High School.

Students in 6th-12th grades can get their vaccine by bringing their completed consent and payment (if required) any time during the scheduled clinic time.  Students in 5th grade and younger will need to be accompanied by a parent.

Parents - Transportation

Norwalk Community Schools currently has an opening in the Transportation Department for a suburban driver to pick up and drop off 1-2 students at various locations.  Job requires a CDL Class D chauffeur’s license, district will supply training.  Hours are from 6:30A – 8A and from 2:15P to 3:30P daily.  Please contact John Stoner at 981-0016 with questions and additional details.
